I just noticed the previous post was posted on April 1st.
:P
It's not a joke, though. I'm trying to get the script done as efficiently as possible (so I won't procrastinate).
Anyway, some more art! Woohoo! I drew the main menu screen two months ago but I don't really like it, so I probably will redo it. This is just a sneak peek at what it is so far.
On another note, I'll finally start the sprites. I've drawn enough sprites to know how it goes and how to make it come out the way I'd like to for the tone of the story.
I've also sketched a few CGs, but they were really early ideas when I didn't have a fair grasp of the script.

Finally!
I've finally reached 20k on the script! (gosh, when I look at it, it's not a lot, but it's still something) Hopefully I can get to 60k at the end of this month, or at least finish the first act of the script. The art, in the meanwhile, just might change. I've been exposed to a lot of styles and want to try something different, though it's not entirely dramatic.
And, a lot of NaNo games are out! Check them out; they're all a lot of fun to play through and you'll definitely love it. I'll be spending the next few days playing these games.

March Marathon
Haha, no art for today. ; 7; Sorry guys. Everything I have is either weird, random doodles or off-limits stuff.
Anyway, I've made a lot of progress on Lotus! I've typed a lot of it into the Renpy engine (previously I had to write it down on paper and it's been killing my hand) but now it's all good since I can use the keyboard. Though my fingertips are feeling kind of weird....
And I've started on the CGs/sprites for the game. I wanted to wait a bit to experiment with a few styles before starting on any art (aside from the menu art...that's kind of done lol).
But, yeah. I hope this all goes well!
(and I might start trying to compose my own songs. as sad as my first attempts might seem, I hope mynonexistent piano skills will pull me through. 8D

NaNoReNo
Character for a possible VN.
So, I've heard of the event NaNoReNo, in which visual novel makers set a challenge for themselves to complete a VN/KN with March as the time frame. It personally sounds interesting, and I might not be busy for March... (and I could put a hold on Lotus) It sounds like a pretty cool idea.
Well then, count me in! I might not finish it with the given deadline, but I have a few ideas here and there that I'd like to put in the VN pool.Watch out guys, I might be posting a lot more on here and generally being in a hurry. P:

Savannah Smiles
Who's this chick?
Yeah, I'm eating those Girl Scout cookies right now. Dericious.
Anyway, I'll update a bit on the progress of the project, now named Lotus. (you might be wondering why it's named so, but I've decided to integrate it into in the story)
Yeah, so basically I've gotten another song from the talented JDarryl, and right now I'm making the main menu art/finishing up the first act of the story. On the other hand, I've been considering a few projects to do in the future, which is why I set up the poll on the side. It's pretty interesting to see the results, as most people put they'd rather see romance first, fantasy second, and comedy third in a visual novel.
Which is why I'm juggling two ideas. The first is mostly focused on fantasy in an alternate universe, but it doesn't mean I won't add in some romance in there. The second involves more funny, romantic, school-life stuff. Not sure which one to start on first after I finish Lotus, so I'll be thinking...P:
On the other hand, the second project will probably be voiced! I'll probably have to do castings and stuff, but I've recruited one voice actress that may appear in the second project. Hopefully things will go well for Lotus and any upcoming projects!
